Skeletal services have started at the Trauma Centre, Laje Road, Ondo, just as it was dedicated to God by clergymen. In his message, Pastor Peter Abimbola thanked God for the success story of the centre, praying that God would continue to direct the steps of the people working in the hospital.
Speaking earlier, Commissioner for Health, Dr. ‘Dayo Adeyanju, charged the staff of the centre to be diligent and dutiful at all times. While describing their work as service to humanity, the Commissioner called on them to always work together as one family.
Dr. Adeyanju, who admonished them to treat their patients with courtesy, reiterated the determination of government to provide qualitative health care to all and sundry.
Also at the event, the Chairman Hospital Management Board, Dr. Niran Okunrinboye, expressed appreciation to the government of Ondo State for the project, saying it is a right step in a right direction.He urged the pioneer staff to always be alive to their responsibilities so as to achieve a common goal.
Responding on behalf of the Trauma Centre, its Chief Medical Director, Dr. Oluwole Ige, assured that they would put in their best in order to justify the reason for establishing the centre.
